The Parks, Recreation & Cultural Affairs Department

 is seeking a responsible and experienced individual to perform highly skilled supervisory and technical work in providing daily oversight to contractors and leadership to department staff for the maintenance and repair services of the City of Gainesville Parks as an Assistant Manager, Park Operations.

This is highly skilled supervisory and technical work in providing daily oversight to contractors and leadership to department staff for the maintenance and repair services of the City of Gainesville Parks. The single position allocated to this classification reports to the Park Operations Manager and works under general supervision. Work in this class is distinguished from other classes by its emphasis on parks management and the supervision of staff and oversight of contractors performing maintenance and repair services.
