Century Engineering, Inc. has an immediate need for a full-time Marketing Proposal Coordinator in our Hunt Valley Headquarters. This position requires a well-organized, detail oriented, self-starter to assist with proposal and presentation preparation, coordination of exhibits and other activities as required.


  • Assist in making go/no go decisions
  • Develop complex proposals and qualifications packages in response to RFPs, RFQs, Solicitations, Letters of Interest, etc.
  • Proficient in coordinating, preparing, and completing standard government forms (SF 254/SF 255/SF 330)
  • Assure compliance with all bid/proposal requirements including forms, page limits, and supporting materials
  • Assist with creative design of proposals to include appropriate graphics
  • Ensure all assignments are completed and submitted on time
  • Perform self-check of work products to eliminate repeat errors and demonstrate constant improvement in deliverables
  • Maintain proposal files and marketing database with resumes, projects, client information, photographs, and presentation materials
  • Develop company advertisements and promotional materials including award and article submissions
  • Coordinate marketing events such as conventions, trade shows, or speaking events


  • Minimum 2 years’ marketing and proposal development experience in the A/E/C industry. (Experience must include proposal preparation)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a related degree is desired but equivalent education and marketing experience in the A/E/C industry acceptable
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent grammar and proof-reading skills required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop) required; graphic design skills a plus
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks in a busy deadline-driven atmosphere
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
