Free Press’ News Voices project is reimagining journalism to center the needs of people of color, and we’re hiring! We are working to center the information needs and voices of community members in New Jersey in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond. This 2-year position will organize with newsrooms and community members in Atlantic City, Camden and Newark to respond to systemic barriers that make information inaccessible or unaffordable.
The typical starting salary for a manager at Free Press is $55,000–65,000. Starting salaries are negotiated based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience.
