Position Summary
The Office Manager serve as primary contact for landlord, janitorial, and general office activities, assumes a leadership role in areas of communication, coordination, and organization. Provides comprehensive support services to the COO, National Resource Center, Associate Director, Communications Director, Prevention Director, and other staff of the NSVRC and assumes responsibility for tracking financial and other activities for NSVRC.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Office Management

  • Greet and direct visitors to appropriate staff, distribute incoming mail, and inter-office mail, stock supplies and resources, custodian & landlord and manage office procedures & systems, upkeep office machines, schedule office events.

Financial Tracking

  • Distribute and track purchase orders and disbursement vouchers, order, inventory office supplies, manage usage of NSVRC company credit cards and reconcile monthly.

Personnel Responsibilities

  • Maintain updated personnel information, assist with tracking employee absences and leave requests, orientate new staff to office procedures.

Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) Responsibilities

  • Work with Prevention Campaign Specialist to order materials and packing supplies, maintain inventory, provide customer service and oversee recording sales in Call Center database.

Administrative Duties

  • Record minutes for NSVRC staff meetings, Advisory Council meetings and others as required, maintain official files, assist staff as needed, coordinate mailings, travel and logistics for meetings, maintain Netform database, assist with conference shipping needs, update Operations Manual as needed, help prepare grants and reports as needed, maintain updated list of sexual assault coalitions with contact information, oversee e-newsletter mailing list additions and assist with call center as needed.

Qualifications
Associate’s degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; and two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

NSVRC is the leading nonprofit in providing information and tools to prevent and respond to sexual violence. NSVRC translates research and trends into best practices that help individuals, communities and service providers achieve real and lasting change. NSVRC also works with the media to promote informed reporting.
