One of the largest women’s advocacy organizations in the country, NWLC has played a role in nearly every major advance for women, with a well-documented track record of leading the way on issues that cut to the core of women’s and girls’ lives on the job, in school, and at home, on issues critical to their reproductive rights and health, and to their income security, with special priority given to the needs of low-income women and their families and to women of color.
