Overview

Sierra Club is hiring a Program Training Director to coordinate learning opportunities for Sierra Club activists, leaders and allies to sharpen movement building and organizing skills. The Program Training Director will oversee a team of staff and volunteers who design and deliver training and learning opportunities for engaging a larger, more deeply committed, connected and confident network of activists and leaders. S/he will be responsible for managing the systems and structures, including assessment, design, implementation, evaluation and follow-up, for reaching thousands of participants online and in the community each year. S/he will identify meaningful trends and connections across the organization and the movement to design high-impact strategic curriculum and workshops. Strong candidates will have excellent management skills, expertise in facilitation and training, a deep understanding of organizing and campaign strategy, and a demonstrated commitment to equity and justice.
