American Jewish World Service (AJWS) is looking for a partner to support our diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) priority of creating a clear process for reporting, support, accountability, and restoration when bias, discrimination, and/or microaggressions occur. The consultant will facilitate visioning exercises/ workshops/ retreats with the subgroup of staff charged with making recommendations to the organizations’ leadership about the process for reporting and accountability. In addition, the consultant will gather insights from additional key stakeholders—to be identified in consultation with the subgroup and as relevant based on the visioning exercises—to inform and refine the subgroup vision. The final deliverable for the consultancy will be a clearly documented process for reporting and receiving support when bias, discrimination, and/or microaggressions occur, including suggestions for accountability mechanisms. It is anticipated that this assignment will cover approximately a 3-month period with approximately 7 days of work estimated. The research is expected to begin in January 2022. The final timeline ideally will not extend past March 2022. The budget for the consultancy is expected to fall between 5,000-7,000 USD. The budget will be finalized based on the consultant’s daily rate and the final agreed upon scope of work.
