Position Summary
The Digital Senior Associate will work with the Hub’s Digital team to develop and execute compelling digital campaigns. In this role, you will help support digital activities, including crafting and deploying social media content, creating landing pages to drive grassroots actions, executing digital organizing tactics, coordinating digital partnerships with influencers and brands, and helping with other facets of our digital campaigning as needed. We’re looking for someone who has experience with action-driven digital programs, is passionate about the latest digital trends, is a strong writer in different styles and voices, and enjoys delving into the data of tracking online campaign performance. The right person for the job is not afraid of taking on new opportunities to move people to action and quickly respond to an ever-changing news cycle.

As the Digital Senior Associate, you will:
·       Work with the Hub’s digital team and external partners to design and execute successful digital campaigns across multiple platforms, including quickly mobilizing around rapid-response moments
·       Manage day-to-day social media programs on platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and other social media accounts; including writing, obtaining approval, collaborating with the creative team, and deploying content on those channels
·       Write compelling social media copy and copy for email, SMS, and web as needed for various campaigns and projects
·       Develop distribution plans to ensure our content reaches influencers, partners, organizers, and more to maximize reach
·       Develop relationships with partners to create stronger ties to the progressive space and promote the sharing of our content
·       Own digital projects from ideation to successful completion, helping to effectively manage and delegate component parts to relevant staff, partners, and interns
·       Update websites and landing pages using content management tools like WordPress, SquareSpace, and/or Wix
·       Keep a pulse on the latest digital trends and best practices, and find new ways to integrate them into our campaigns
·       Maintain digital reports and track digital analytics for our campaigns and use that data to make recommendations on how to adjust our strategy
·       Perform other duties as assigned

This position is included in a union-represented collective bargaining unit; specific employment terms and conditions are subject to labor-management negotiations and a potential Collective Bargaining Agreement.

·       You’re flexible, organized, and detail-oriented
·       You’re passionate about following the latest digital trends and where people are getting their information online
·       You enjoy tracking online campaign performance and using your analytical brain to make the content perform better
·       You’re comfortable working on tight deadlines and balancing multiple projects
·       You’ve got experience jumping into rapid-response moments
·       You’re comfortable taking on evolving responsibilities

In addition, it would be a bonus if:
·       You have experience working with social media influencers to drive a political message to key audiences
·       You have experience navigating relationships with partner organizations to collaborate on digital campaigns
·       You’ve used digital tools like EveryAction, New/Mode, or others
·       You have some experience working with basic design tools like Canva (or as an added bonus, Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or InDesign)
