This role is fully remote, based in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. This position is open to anyone with the permanent right to work in a country in the region. Girl Up Regional Managers serve as key members of Girl Up’s global headquarters (HQ), driving forward Girl Up’s mission to develop transformative leaders who advance gender justice across their focus region. Regional Managers create and manage the overall strategy for Girl Up in their region and oversee its implementation.
Girl Up Regional Managers have a strong understanding of the local contexts concerning gender equity and girls’ leadership development and benefit from existing relationships in the gender, social justice, and/or youth leadership development space.
Girl Up Regional Manager for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) will collaborate closely with Girl Up HQ’s Operations, Communications, Development, and Programs departments as well as with other regional team members. Girl Up Regional Managers work remotely and are based within their focus region. Regional Managers report to the Global Operations Department and supervise any other Girl Up regional team members in their region, as relevant.
