Petitioners Needed to Legalize Maijuana!
Join our campaign to decriminalize recreational adult use of marijuana in Oklahoma! Punitive drug laws in our country have disproportionately targeted communities of color dating as far back as the 1870s. We are fighting to promote alternatives to the war on drugs, putting an end to small possession arrests for cannabis and centuries of discrimination! We will be working to pass sensible marijuana laws that promote equitable drug regulation, expand access to health services and transform the direction of drug policy.
We’re urgently hiring campaign staff to gather petition signatures from Oklahoma voters to put an important initiative on the ballot in 2022! Petitioners are paid hourly to canvas busy public places and ask passersby to stop and sign a petition with their name and date saying they want the chance to vote on the issue.
Get paid well! Canvass positions start at $21/hour. Leadership positions start at $23/hour. We offer overtime pay, driver bonuses, shift bonuses, paid training, sick pay, and bonuses for friend referrals. All team members have the opportunity to earn an extra $100 weekly bonus for working 4 or more shifts in a week, as well as a $50 bonus for anyone who collects 45 or more valid signatures in any shift.
Stay Safe! We have strict health and safety protocols that include a contactless approach to campaign work. We provide all of the training and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) you will need.
