Vot-ER State Regional Organizers [Remote in AZ, FL, GA, NC, MI, PA, OH, or WI]

Position description: Vot-ER is seeking full-time State Regional Organizers in 8 states (AZ, FL, GA, NC, MI, PA, OH, WI) to engage healthcare providers to support their colleagues and patients to register to vote, furthering our mission to create a more inclusive democracy. The Organizer will execute efforts to recruit new providers into our work, build the power and leadership of our current providers, and support all providers to help their patients and communities to vote in 2022.

Reports to: Organizing Director

Responsibilities:
-Create volunteer teams: Build out 8-12 healthcare provider organizing teams in the relevant state to regularly engage in voter registration activities
-Support voter registration efforts: Help patients and providers to register to vote and/or request an absentee ballot through healthcare-based voter access by Nov 2022
-Grow the base of Vot-ER health care providers: Recruit 300-500 new Healthy Democracy Kit users leading up to general election voter registration deadlines, moving providers up the ladder of engagement when possible
-Engage Community Health Centers in voter registration: Recruit/work with 3-4 community health centers in strategic areas of the state to engage in voter registration activities
-Get Out the Vote: Engage in GOTV efforts that aim to increase voter participation versus a typical midterm year
-Form partnerships: Work with nonpartisan civic engagement organizations to support Vot-ER voter registration efforts

-An ability to be highly independent and to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
-Experience using Google Suite, Zoom, and other online tools to communicate effectively
-Bi-/Multilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply; Spanish proficiency preferred

Work Environment/Compensation: This is a full-time role through December 31, 2022. The role will involve occasional nights and weekends with increased activity from Aug-Oct, 2022.
Pay is $4,000/month with health insurance benefits, flexible time off policy, and reimbursements for travel-related costs.
