About The Online to Offline Strategy Group
The Online to Offline Strategy Group (O2O) is a worker-self-directed nonprofit dedicated to winning structural change by building people-centered, digitally-empowered movements.
Our online to offline organizing methods were born out of necessity, through worker-led fights with Walmart, the largest employer in the US. Since then, we’ve applied O2O strategies to dozens of campaigns to build robust digital infrastructure, effective organizing workflows, and communities that unleash collective action.
About the Role
We are seeking a Contractor role (Senior Organizer – Worker-Led Campaigns) to support workers in building the power necessary to improve conditions and win meaningful change in their workplaces. This role will work directly with warehouse workers on a campaign critical to the labor movement.
This role focuses on designing and executing worker-led campaigns, especially at the shopfloor level; coaching organisers and worker leaders; and building the systems and structures necessary for sustained worker organisation.
The ideal candidate has experience organizing workers to move from shared grievances to collective action. Candidates should have a track record of successfully coaching workers on organizing conversations, committee-building, issue identification, campaign planning, inoculation against management tactics, fighting back against retaliation, and organization-building. They should be comfortable developing shop-floor campaign arcs, training curriculum, and organizing materials that support worker-led campaigns.
The ideal candidate will also have experience organizing workers around health and safety issues and be excited to support workers seeking to improve workplace conditions through collective action.
Key Responsibilities

Create practical resources that workers can use to organize in their workplaces
Organizational Development
Help build systems that support worker-led organizing at scale
Develop processes for leadership tracking, campaign planning, and worker engagement
Support the growth of worker committees and help build the infrastructure needed to support a strong worker-led organization
Strategic Support

Provide strategic guidance during campaign escalations, retaliation incidents, and key organizing moments
Support workers in responding to employer tactics designed to discourage collective action
Identify opportunities to expand successful organizing efforts into broader campaigns
