We are seeking hardworking and ambitious candidates to join our youth voter registration and leadership development efforts at Texas colleges and universities. This role is ideal for candidates who are excited to grow with the organization and help build up the next generation of Texas leaders.
The Campus Organizer will work closely with the Regional Organizing Director to oversee and execute the organization’s grassroots organizing and voter registration strategies on their specific campus. This role involves managing organizing staff, coordinating outreach efforts, developing voter registration strategies, and ensuring the successful implementation of voter registration programs on a specific campus.
Key Responsibilities:
Support Organizing Strategies:
- Lead Voter Registration at target campuses.
- Contribute to the creation of outreach strategies and training materials.
Team Management:
- Supervise and mentor Cornerstone Fellows, providing guidance and support to ensure effective performance.
- Conduct regular team meetings, performance evaluations, and professional development sessions.
Data Management:
- Manage the delivery and collection of data.
- Assist the Quality Control team with Data Entry, as needed.
Problem-Solving and Crisis Management:
- Address and resolve issues that arise within the organizing team or during voter registration activities.
- Provide solutions to unforeseen challenges and ensure continuity of voter registration efforts.
Reporting and Communication:
- Report progress and outcomes of voter registration activities to the Regional Organizing Director and other senior staff.
- Communicate effectively with team members and fellows
Compensation: This role pays $5,250 monthly and includes 100% medical, dental, and vision coverage.
