Summary:
Our Mail Administrator will be responsible for the execution and implementation of the Texas Democratic Party’s direct mail campaigns consisting of persuasion and get-out-the-vote political mail pieces. This role will work directly with the Operations Director to ensure the timeliness and manage the logistics of persuasion and turnout mail. Job responsibilities are multifaceted and include: interfacing with mail consultants, mail houses, and the postal service; preparing reports for senior leadership; overseeing the mail campaigns from start to finish; as well as additional assigned duties. Attention to detail is a must. This is a full-time, cycle-based hybrid position based in Austin, Texas, and expected to end in November 2024. This position is union-eligible.
Core Responsibilities:
Manages direct mail programs, processes, and materials to insure effective and on-time results for persuasion and get out the vote efforts
Coordinate with Candidate Services, Data, and Operations Teams to ensure mail process is effective and tracked from start to finish
Oversee system management for check processing
Tracks direct mail program efficiency and makes recommendations for improvements

Preferred Experience:

Outstanding communication skills and keeping all stakeholders informed in up-to-the-minute developments
Familiarity with Texas compliance and campaign finance is helpful
Previous experience with non-profit/bulk mail permit programs via USPS is a big plus
Salary:
$4,166.66/month
