About the Program: Movement Labs is hiring Organizing Fellows for our Beers & Ballots initiative! As a Fellow, you will join Beers & Ballots staff and volunteers at bars showing football games for swing state teams, then buy patrons a drink who help mobilize their swing state friends to vote.

About the Role:
As a Fellow, you will be responsible for canvassing, recruiting, training, and managing of a team of volunteers. This position is 20-40 hours a week. Pay is $20 an hour.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage bar patrons.
  • Recruit, train, and manage volunteers.
  • Hit targets given by the Field Organizer.
  • Track and report accurate data.
  • Support the overall effort of the Beers & Ballots field operations.
  • Others duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Passion for civic engagement and political activism.
  • Previous canvassing experience preferred, or total fearlessness around strangers and extreme extroversion.
  • Friendly with a “Can-Do” attitude.
  • Previous leadership and recruitment experience desired.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends is a must.
  • Experience in political campaign or advocacy work is a plus.
