Global Communities is seeking a Senior Technical Advisor to join the Global Programs team at the headquarters in downtown Silver Spring, Maryland or in San Diego, California. The Senior Technical Advisor (STA) will be responsible for the integration of gender and social inclusion across Global Communities’ programs by providing and/or supervising high-quality technical assistance to country programs and project-based gender and inclusion advisors; providing technical leadership for proposals and project design; and developing new tools and processes to mainstream gender and inclusion across the organization. The STA will work to scale systems and practices to effectively mainstream gender across the organization, with an eye towards programmatic growth, standard-setting and systematization, and integrating the best practices and the latest thinking in the gender technical field.
