The Coordinated Digital Director will work closely with Empower Project leadership and the Organizing Team to recruit thousands of Community Mobilizers (CMs) for a statewide paid relational organizing program.
The Digital Director will be part of the strategic team and be encouraged to offer input into program design. This position is an opportunity to play a senior role on a groundbreaking program that aims to scale to additional states in 2024.
This is a full-time, remote, salaried position available immediately and lasting through November 15, 2023.
The work schedule is six days per week with Sundays or Fridays off. Digital Organizers will generally work either Sunday – Thursdays or Monday – Saturdays, 9:30am – 8pm Eastern or 9:30am – 8pm Eastern time, depending on their state assignment.
We will also work the full week before the November election.
Salary:
The salary for this position is $7,000/month.
Core Responsibilities:
Recruitment and screening
Supervising Digital Organizers who will be responsible for implementing the Peer to Peer program that will drive most of the recruitment.
Determining and driving digital strategies to raise awareness of the program
Supervising and leading all Digital Communications projects
Collaborating with team members, other departments, and external partners as needed to ensure digital projects are completed effectively and efficiently
Supervising the creation of digital content and assets according to defined brand specifications, including but not limited to training materials, website content, video, graphics, digital ad collateral, and email templates.
Support Empower Project leadership in monitoring and identifying trends in the CM recruitment pipeline
Assisting program leadership with other activities
Candidates must have extensive experience working with EveryAction and Peer to Peer texting tools such as Hustle and Scale to Win.
Additional consideration will be given to candidates who have existing relationships in key states, have experience with relational organizing, or are fluent in a second language, including Spanish.
