Full-Time Police Officer Announcement
The Civil Service Commission of Vermilion, Ohio, announces an open competitive examination for the position of Full-Time Police Officer. Vermilion is an equal opportunity employer.
Testing Information
The Vermilion Police Department is using the National Testing Network (NTN) for entry-level testing. Candidates must register with NTN and schedule their test. Testing results will be accepted during the specified application period.

Eligibility List and Selection Process:
Candidates who pass the NTN exam will be added to the eligibility list after applying any extra credit.
The Vermilion Civil Service Commission will certify the list.
Candidates on the certified list will be invited to participate in the next stages of the selection process.
Note: If you have previously taken the NTN test and your scores are valid, you must request NTN to transfer your scores to Vermilion before the application deadline.
Hiring Process:

Examination: Achieve a minimum score of 70% in each section (reading, writing, and video).
