Sales Development Representative

Outgrow Your Garage believes that business development should be accessible to all, regardless of income level, race, or geographic region, and we’re looking for a Sales Development Representative who supports that mission. Our ideal candidate is someone wanting to work in a purpose-driven organization, with a focus on quality, long-term sales relationships.

This position is fully remote, and can be performed from anywhere in the US. Pay starts at $25 per hour, plus commission. This position is a part time (20 hours per week), 1099 contractor position, with the option to become a full time W2 employee position as the company grows.


Job Requirements:

  • Must be interested in working with small businesses and support Outgrow Your Garage mission of increasing access to business development resources
  • Must have at least 1 year of previous sales experience
  • Must be eligible to work in the US
  • Must be over 18 years of age
  • Must be comfortable with cloud based technologies such as Google Drive, Slack, and project management platforms such as Airtable, Trello or similar
  • Must maintain access to internet during stated working hours
  • Proficient in written and spoken English


Preferred Candidate will have some or all of the following:

  • Have experience working in a remote position
  • Interest in small businesses and their growth strategies
  • Good communication skills, with an interest in a collaborative work environment
  • Interest in learning new technologies and sales/marketing strategies
  • Have experience in developing sales strategies and evaluating prospects
  • Interest in developing relationships with new and existing partner organizations
  • Be proficient in written and spoken Spanish (or willing to learn within 24 months of start date)


Pay and Benefits:

  • $25 per hour, paid bi-weekly
  • Determine own work schedule and hours
  • Paid travel for company events.
  • Fully remote (can be done from anywhere within US)
  • Position may be done in conjunction with international travel provided employee maintains permanent address in US and coordinates with supervisor on timing and work schedule
