Timeframe: ASAP through November 2024

The campaign to elect Ashley Ehasz for Congress is seeking Field Organizers for the 2024 election cycle. Combat Veteran Ashley Ehasz is the Democratic nominee running against the Republican incumbent Congressman for Pennsylvania’s First District, in a seat that Biden won by 5 points in 2020.  This will be one of the top congressional seats to take back the House in 2024.

Field Organizers will work closely with the Organizing Director to recruit, train, and manage volunteers across the district. Field Organizers will also be responsible for direct voter outreach to persuade voters to vote for Ashley, vote planning, representing Ashley and the campaign at events, and data management. These members of Team Ehasz staff will need to be organized and detail-oriented, possess strong communication skills, and demonstrate a strong ability to work independently.

Primary Responsibilities

Use a variety of tactics to persuade and mobilize voters, recruit volunteers, and engage and mobilize communities across PA-01 to hit daily and weekly metric-driven goals.
Engage in direct voter contact by knocking on doors, making phone calls, and registering voters.
Recruit, train, and manage volunteers and volunteer leaders to conduct direct voter contact and execute a large-scale GOTV effort, including organizing and recruiting for events.
Represent Ashley’s campaign at community events, parades, etc.
Assist the Organizing Director in managing campaign interns.
Travel will be required to and from campaign events, canvass events, etc. as necessary.
Other responsibilities as assigned by the Organizing Director and/or Campaign Manager.

This position is full time and will last until November 15, 2024. Salary is $4,000, plus a travel stipend and a $500 healthcare stipend. Supporter housing may be available.
