Position Title: Full-Time Firefighter/Paramedic

The Marion Township Fire Department is hiring for the Full Time Firefighter/Paramedic position! Candidates are required to complete the following by June 30, 2024, to be considered for the position:

  • NTN’s FireTEAM Exam
  • Personal History Questionnaire (PHQ)
  • Marion Township Fire Department currently has two open firefighter positions, with three additional positions being filled by the end of the year.

Salary Information:

Year 1 Starting Pay: $53,283.57 or $21.35 per hour
•    Does not include holiday pay or overtime

Top Out Pay – $66,604.46 with Longevity Starting after Completing 5 years.

Department Overview:

Located in Northern Central Ohio, Marion Township has a population of 7,500 and responds to approximately 2500 calls for service annually. Our main focus is providing excellent customer service in fire suppression, emergency medical emergencies, and public safety, focusing on life safety, training, and professional development.
