Position Type: Regular – Full-time.
FLSA Status: Position is an hourly, non-exempt position.
Salary Information: $61,614.00 – $69,114.00

The Monclova Township Fire / Rescue Department is currently accepting applications, resumes, and cover letters for an open Full-Time Firefighter / Paramedic position. This position is open to both internal part-time or paid per call personnel and external applicants. This position reports to the Fire Chief or his designee. The Firefighter / Paramedic will be tasked with performing firefighting, basic / advanced life support, hazardous material, and fire prevention duties. Firefighter / Paramedics will also maintain fire equipment, apparatus, and facilities.

Work Schedule:
24/48 schedule with a 24-hour shift on a three (3) platoon system with one 24-hour Kelly Day scheduled every twenty-one (21) days. However, the schedule may be adjusted to meet the operational needs of the department.

High School Grad/GED: Yes
Valid OH State Driver’s License: Yes
Ability to Read/Speak English: Yes
Vision Requirement: None
College Requirement: None
Prior Experience: Preferred but not required
Necessary Certifications:
- State of Ohio Paramedic;
- State of Ohio Firefighter II;
- Will accept State of Ohio Firefighter I (must obtain Firefighter II within first year);
- Hazardous Materials Operations or Technician;
- AHA CPR BLS & ACLS Provider
- Firefighter Mile
Additional Requirements: NIMS ICS 100, 200, 700;
