Overview
MoveOn is seeking an experienced product professional to support the work on our customer relationship management (CRM) platform. This role is ideal for a designer who thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments and can translate complex requirements into clear, practical, and scalable design solutions. Ideal designers are pragmatic, systems-minded, and skilled at delivering high-quality work within real-world business and technical constraints.
Scope of Work
This contract role will support the continued design and delivery of MoveOn’s CRM platform, with an anticipated workload averaging 20 hours per week. Hours outlined in any scope of work are estimates only, and MoveOn does not guarantee a specific number of hours to contractors.
This role will work under the direction of the Lead Designer and in partnership with Product Managers.
Rapidly translate product requirements into wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and production-ready UI designs
Design new CRM features and workflows using existing components, patterns, and established UX standards
Collaborate closely with the Product team, including the Lead Designer and Product Managers, to clarify requirements, iterate design solutions, and support alignment on feasible implementation approaches.
Participate in broader cross-functional discussions as needed.
Contribute to organized, maintainable Figma files and collaborative documentation practices
Ensure designs align with our existing style guidelines, component library, design tokens, and technical constraints
Iterate quickly based on feedback while maintaining consistency and momentum toward MVP delivery
Recommend practical UX improvements when appropriate, while staying grounded in project goals, timelines, and implementation realities
Present design concepts to stakeholders, providing insight into your design process and demonstrating how your work aligns with user needs and business goals
Display strong initiative, addressing issues without prompting.

Most-favorable terms
MoveOn reserves the right to make an award without further discussion of the proposal submitted. Therefore, the proposal should be submitted initially on the most favorable terms that the vendor could propose. There will be no best-and-final-offer procedure. MoveOn does reserve the right to contact a vendor for clarification of its proposal.
The vendor should be prepared to accept this request for proposal for incorporation into a contract resulting from this request for proposal. Contract negotiations may incorporate some or the vendor’s entire proposal. It is understood that the proposal will become a part of the official procurement file on this matter without obligation to MoveOn.
No obligation to contract
This request for proposal does not obligate MoveOn to contract for services specified herein.
Rejection of proposals
MoveOn reserves the right at its sole discretion to reject any and all proposals received without penalty and not to issue a contract as a result of this request for proposal.
