This position will focus on organizing and overseeing programming and activities for peer education and men’s engagement programs. The Program Coordinator for Peer Education and Men’s Engagement organizes, advises, and oversees the peer education groups and programming for the Center. Additionally, the Program Coordinator for Peer Education and Men’s Engagement will focus on engaging college men in violence prevention work, including re-launching the Men Against Violence (MAV) program. In collaboration with the Associate Director, they will develop healthy masculinity programming, including implementing evidence-based programming for male engagement around sexual violence, relationship violence, stalking, harassment, and other campus climate issues as well as provide oversight of the Gender Equity Peer Education programs, including the It’s On Us Peer Education program and Greeks CARE program. Further, the successful coordinator will work with the Prevention Education team on developing and leading Gender Equity signature and annual programming as well as working with the Program Coordinator for Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI) to provide uniform bystander intervention messaging and methods across the wide range of topics where such strategies are essential to promote an inclusive campus culture.
