Tammy Baldwin for Senate is seeking a Finance Assistant to join U.S. Senator Tammy Baldwin’s 2024 Senate campaign. This role will work within the finance department to assist in the campaign’s fundraising eorts. This is an entry level, full-time position in Madison, Wisconsin.
You’re an ideal candidate if you have strong time and organizational management skills, are a diligent researcher, communicator, and team-player motivated to assist in executing the overall fundraising plan. Successful candidates will also possess strong writing and communication skills and are prepared to think out of the box to enhance the overall fundraising operation.

Salary: $4,500 per month

Responsibilities:
● Managing the finance intern program
● Working with the Call Time Assistant to conduct donor research and scheduling calls
● Monitoring the finance phone to respond to any returned voicemails or texts
● Conducting personal outreach to donors
● Assist the events team with event build (calls, emails, texts) and event staffing as needed
● Working with the Call Time Assistant and Events Coordinator to pull donor lists for solicitation and/or invitation to fundraising events
● Maintaining data integrity in campaign information systems including email systems and trackers
● Assisting the events and call time teams with pledge chase
● Managing the daily check sourcing process
● Availability on evenings and weekends to attend events and meetings
● Driving the Senator
● Other duties as needed
Qualifications:
● A valid license
● Attention to detail and strong systems for organization
● Ability to work independently and with a team
● Good communication and writing skills
● Willingness to take initiative and find creative solutions
● Experience with political campaigns or related oce experience
● Proficiency in common computer programs like Excel and Microsoft Word
The following experience would be preferred, but not required:
● Previous experience managing interns or volunteers
● Working knowledge of Federal campaign finance laws
● Experience working with NGP and ActBlue
Compensation:
● $4,500 per month
● Mileage reimbursement for campaign travel
