Overview: The Pennsylvania Accountability Organizers will work to hold elected officials accountable for the passage of SB106. The organizer will collect supporter petition signatures, organize visibility events and rallies and raise awareness about the “No Right to Abortion” constitutional amendment in Pennsylvania. After spending several weeks narrowly focused on SB106 accountability work, the organizer’s role will shift to being embedded alongside The Outreach Team canvass office and operation. The organizer will engage and follow up with supporters who are identified via the canvasses to amplify and increase impact with further accountability actions and vote tripling efforts throughout the fall. This organizer will be partnered with The Outreach Team canvassing office and will work in direct partnership with The Outreach Team Field directors on voter and supporter information to feed into the organizer’s accountability volunteer team.

Location and Timeline: We are hiring organizers for this position beginning September 8th and continuing through the November Election, with the possibility of extension. Organizers will be based in several areas of Pennsylvania, including in or near Bucks, Delaware, and Montgomery counties (Philadelphia collar-counties, and Allegheny County, in the Pittsburgh area.

Salary, Benefits and Perks:

The salary for this position is $47,000-$54,000. Salary within this range is determined through an equity calculator. As part of The Outreach Team’s commitment to compensation equity and transparency, we have a no negotiation policy. Salary negotiations can introduce bias and perpetuate wage inequality. At the end of the campaign, there may be opportunities for advancement. We offer a generous benefits package, including:
