Overview
UTEC’s mission is to ignite and nurture the ambition of disconnected young people, transforming their lives from violence and poverty to social and economic success. Serving Lowell, Lawrence, and Haverhill, MA, we are nationally recognized for our work with justice-involved young adults aged 18-25. We currently use Salesforce as our CRM for our fundraising and social enterprises and are looking for a consultant to help support our work. For more information about UTEC, visit www.utecinc.org.

Scope of Work
UTEC is seeking a Salesforce Consultant to collaborate with UTEC’s Development team to assist with the following:

• Support with the development of reports, particularly those requiring back end customization.
• Assist with the build-out of any custom elements of the platform.
• Provide support for other CRM-related needs as they arise.
• Some upcoming and ongoing projects include: large-scale data review & clean-up, improving prospect & pipeline management processes, development of key reports for the development & grants teams, integration of contract management, and many more!

Required Skills and Background
Successful candidates will meet the following criteria:

• Extensive experience customizing Salesforce database and in particular Salesforce Non-Profit Success Pack
• Expertise in client management systems for nonprofits
• Strong analytical skills for optimizing data collection and reporting processes
• Proven ability to translate a team/department’s needs into effective database solutions
• Preference for individual consultants, though teams will be considered

Duration/Contract
We are seeking a consultant for approximately 10 hours per month over the next year, with the potential to extend the contract. This contract position can be done in tandem with other projects/ employment.

Specific hours are negotiable. UTEC business hours are 9am-5pm Eastern time. Work will commence as early as possible in 2025, with a specific start date to be negotiated.
